We all know it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and pink products everywhere, from M&M’s to bad wine, remind us daily lest we forget.
Undone has taken a different approach – we recruited 16 vastly different local celebs to submit their own bra “creations” to encourage mammograms, demistify self exams, poke fun at stodgy midwestern fuddy duddys and just generally have fun with our very own local Bras for a Cause.
All the Bras are on display in Undone’s windows until the 15th. Indeed, the word Bra need be capitalized since all the creations deserve it. From the sublime (The Man-ssiere courtesy of Jinny – the MOST fabulous boutique) to the…shall we say, unusual? (The Bra-Mazon replete with a superhero cape courtesty of Betty’s Fine Foods and Spirits).
We, at Undone, bribe you to vote on your favorite Bra. Less than a $5 donation and we shake your hand and might hug you. $5 donation, we give you a $5 gift card. $10 donation we give you a hug and two $5 gift cards. And so it goes.
100% of proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
On October 15th we change venues to The Social Room where we will host a most unusual fashion show – Tata’s and Tutu’s. Yep. All of the Bras hit the runway for your viewing and voting pleasure.
Speaking of – um – Tutu’s, The Ooh-La-La’s burlesque troupe entertains. Oohhh burlesque is hot hot hot again. Deservedly so. Especially the Ooh’s.
Yet again, bribery for a good cause is the theme of the evening. Less than $5 might MIGHT get you an Ooh hug. Most assuredly $5 will get you a gift card to Undone.

Gallery Hop – October Battle of the Bras

Busy busy weekend with Gallery Hop “perfect storm” – fabulous weather, no OSU football and a long weekend. Drag Kings out front with rapper Unnec (don’t ask me…) kept people entertained and while I wish we had had an artist in store, had hordes of people anyway.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so we will be kicking off The Battle of the Bras at October Gallery Hop. Just finishing up list of participants, local celebs and fun people, so will post more scoop soon.
Don’t forget, we’re still doing Cash for Clunkers, Undone’s way. Bring in an old bra, get fit for a new one at a 30% discount and we add your old one to our Bra Ball. Trying to beat the old record of 750 lbs. That’s ALOT of bras!
Remember, getting “fit” is one of the few things we can control regarding breast health. And hey, you look better when The Girls are in the right corsetry.
